Since first being elected to Congress, one of the greatest joys for me has been to personally give tours of the Capitol Building to the hundreds of people who visit our office each year. I make it a point, whenever possible, to take people into the House Chamber, so they can see their government at work. If constituents have traveled all the way to Washington, then they deserve to get a tour from their member of Congress.
Like most places today, the Coronavirus is dominating a lot of the talk on Capitol Hill. As it has become clear that China's efforts to contain the virus have failed, and there have now been deaths in the U.S., concern has grown about a possible outbreak here at home. We've seen that concern directly with what has happened on Wall Street with the markets.

"I was very pleased to see that the President put an emphasis on three areas that are important to me: continuing to grow our economy, rebuilding America's strength, both at home and abroad, and protecting the most vulnerable among us.

On Tuesday night, February 4th, 2020, President Donald Trump will deliver his third State of the Union address and his 4th overall message to a joint session of Congress. A President's first speech to Congress is not officially called a State of the Union because it is delivered just weeks after taking office. Instead, it is simply referred to as an Address to Congress.

Washington — Today, Congressman Robert Aderholt, (AL-04) released the following statement after House Democrats voted to impeach President Donald J. Trump.
Today is a sad day for the United States. Our duly-elected President, Donald Trump, was impeached by House Democrats compelled by partisanship, not by facts. I was proud to stand with President Trump, joining my Republican colleagues and several Democrats to vote no.
