Aderholt will preside over the Subcommittee on Agriculture and Rural Development, the FDA and Related Agencies. Kingston will head the Subcommittee on Labor, HHS, Education and Related Agencies.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. --
All six Republicans in Alabama's House delegation voted against legislation to avoid the fiscal cliff, while the state's lone Democrat voted for it.
Republican U.S. Reps. Jo Bonner, Martha Roby, Mike Rogers, Robert Aderholt, Spencer Bachus and Mo Brooks cast no votes, and Democratic Rep. Terri Sewell voted yes on the legislation that passed 257-167 Tuesday.

Joining Congressman Aderholt as he was sworn in by Speaker of the House John Boehner, were his wife Caroline, his daughter Mary Elliot and his son Robert Hayes.

All six of Alabama's Republican congressional delegates voted against legislation to block the so-called "fiscal cliff" as the measure was approved by the House tonight.
U.S. Reps. Robert Aderholt, Spencer Bachus, Jo Bonner, Mo Brooks, Martha Roby and Mike Rogers all voted against the bill, which was approved by a 257-167 vote.
