Cullman, AL – Congressman Robert Aderholt (AL-04) today announced that the U.S. Department of Transportation has awarded a $20,390,010 grant to the City of Cullman for the St. Bernard Bridge Replacement Project. The grant, part of the FY25-26 Rural MPDG Program, will facilitate the replacement and relocation of the existing two-lane St. Bernard Bridge on US Hwy 278/SR 69, which crosses Eight Mile Creek.

Congressman Aderholt, working with the US Army Corps of Engineers, hopes that with federal funding being delivered, citizens in Moulton will finally receive relief from the drainage problem caused by congested creeks in the area.
