Haleyville, Ala. — Today, Congressman Robert Aderholt (AL-04) released the following statement concerning the $355,858 he worked to secure for the Will Bright Foundation, which is dedicated to helping people recover from opioid abuse. The announcement from the Appalachian Rural Commission is attached.

Washington, D.C. — Today, Congressman Robert Aderholt (AL-04) joined Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall in filing suit against the United States Census Bureau, specifically the Bureau's use of differential privacy. Congressman Aderholt serves as the ranking member of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Commerce, Justice and Science. The United States Census Bureau is part of the Department of Commerce.

Washington, D.C. — Today, Congressman Robert Aderholt (AL-04) announced the start of the 2021 Art Competition for high school students across the 4^thDistrict. The awards ceremony will take place on April 6, 2021 at the A.W. Todd Centre in Russellville. Students in the 9-12^th grade, whether they attend a public school, private school or are home-schooled, are eligible to participate.

Washington, D.C. - Today, Congressman Robert Aderholt (AL-04) released the following statement in regard to Senator Shelby's retirement.

"Senator Shelby's retirement will be a huge loss to Alabama and to our nation. His work and influence has been felt in every corner of our state. Alabama's economic strength owes a lot to his leadership. I look forward to continuing to work with him the next two years on our respective Appropriations Committees to continue to serve and deliver for the people of Alabama."

"The storming of the United States Capitol was an American tragedy. As someone who was in the chamber of the House of Representatives that day, I can tell you it was a dark day in American history. The actions of those who broke into the building are unacceptable and undefendable. As I stated last week, our goal now should be on unifying our nation and to prayerfully seek answers to our nation's problems.
