A decision by the White House to remove certain sleeping bags from U.S. tariff reductions for developing nations has been hailed as a victory for a Haleyville manufacturer.

The move announced Thursday by the U.S. Trade Representative's office came in the annual review of the reductions, known as the Generalized System of Preferences.
