“I was sad to hear about the terrorist attacks in Orlando, on American soil. This and other attacks we have seen, prove that we do not have the luxury of debating the political correctness of 'radical Islam '. We need to focus on these and other terrorists and do whatever it takes to identify and hunt down those who would do us harm.

RUSSELLVILLE, Ala. – Farmers Home Furniture announced today it will invest $10 million in a new distribution center to be built in Franklin County. This is expected to bring 80 new jobs to northwest Alabama.
Farmers purchased a 325,000 square foot facility in Russellville Industrial Park. Farmers Home Furniture has 35 stores in various locations throughout Alabama, and this new center will serve as a distribution hub.
Four Alabama congressmen lent their names to a letter Monday calling on President Barack Obama to rescind the administration's guidance on transgender students and bathroom use, calling it a "poorly executed threat" and an example of executive overreach.
On Thursday, the Obama administration sent guidance to school districts saying that transgender students should be allowed to use the restroom they feel most comfortable using and not necessarily the one associated with their biological gender. Schools that don't comply with the order are in danger of having federal funds revoked.
