The Decatur Daily | Aderholt, Brooks declared winners by AP

Two congressmen who represent the Tennessee Valley posted substantial leads in their bid for re-election and were declared the winners of their races by The Associated Press.

District 4 Rep. Robert Aderholt, R-Haleyville, had 76 percent of the vote with 94 of 490 precincts reporting. His challenger is Daniel Boman.

District 5 Rep. Mo Brooks, R-Huntsville, had 68 percent of the vote with 25 of 256 precincts reporting. He faces Charlie Holley.
