Press Release

Washington, D.C. — Congressman Robert Aderholt (AL-04) today released the following statement on being sworn in for another term serving as Alabama's 4th Congressional District Representative.

"It was such an honor to take the oath of office for another term representing the people of the 4th Congressional District and the state of Alabama. It was also a special blessing to have my wife, daughter and son join me as I took the oath. Now the hard part begins. I will work with my Republican colleagues, and soon-to-be President Trump, to see that a new agenda for the American people is our top priority. I would like to thank the people of Alabama for their confidence in me."

In Washington, Congressman Aderholt serves as Chairman of the Subcommittee on Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies for the powerful House Appropriations Committee; he is also a member of the Committee’s Defense Subcommittee, the Committee’s Commerce, Justice, and Science Subcommittee, and the Helsinki Commission.
