For Immediate Release: September 28, 2021
Washington, D.C. — Today, Congressman Robert Aderholt announced two grants from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to benefits rural healthcare in North Alabama.
“I am happy to announce that the Capstone Rural Health Center in Parrish, Alabama will receive a grant of $567,000 and Quality of Life Health Services in Gadsden will receive $1,182,286. Both grants are to support medical infrastructure at both locations. Even before the pandemic, but especially since it began, our rural health centers have been on the frontlines of the fight against COVID-19. But beyond COVID, these centers provide crucial healthcare for underserved communities. These funds will help them to continue this high-quality service. I’m proud to support this type funding in Congress.”
