Aderholt Praises and Thanks Congresswoman Kay Granger for Her Service as Appropriations Chair

WASHINGTON – Congressman Robert Aderholt (AL-04) released the following statement after learning that Chairwoman of the House Committee on Appropriations, Kay Granger, is stepping down.
“I was sad to hear that Congresswoman Granger has decided to step down as Appropriations Chair. Kay and I were elected the same year, and so I feel like she and I have been on this journey in Congress together. I want to thank her for her service to the Committee, to our Conference and to the American people. I repeat what I said when she announced last year that she would not be seeking reelection, she has been a fighter for her constituents, a great leader on the Appropriations Committee, and she has been a friend. I look forward to working with her throughout the remainder of this Congress.”
